The VALUEcard
and Apple iPad Raffle Fundraisers kick off on Tuesday,
September 23rd. Each band member (includes all marchers and
non-marchers) will be responsible for selling a minimum of six
(6) cards and five (5) raffle tickets. More are available, so
sell as many as you can!
VALUEcards: We're
spicing up this fundraiser with a CHALLENGE
AMONG THE SECTIONS!!! The section
that sells the most cards (per percentage) wins the opportunity
to formally welcome our new Associate Band Director by throwing
water balloons at Mr. Coleman. VALUEcards sell for $10 each and
are valid for discounts at local merchants as imprinted on the
cards with a duration of one year.
Raffle: Tickets
are 1 for $5.00 or 3 for $10.00 - 1st
Prize: Apple iPad (WiFi 32 GB); 2nd
Prize: $50 Visa Gift Card; 3rd
Prize: $25 Visa Gift Card. The raffle drawing will be on
October 15th at the Homecoming Game - Rockdale vs. Madison (no
need to be present to win). This raffle will sell itself, so
make sure you enter this one!
Students must turn in ALL monies
collected with any unsold cards or raffle tickets by THURSDAY,
OCTOBER 14TH to
Mr. Stanton or Mr. Coleman in the original envelope labeled with
their name. [NOTE: Students
will be responsible for payment of any unsold VALUEcards or
raffle tickets not returned
by the deadline date.]
