Rockdale
County High School's Band Booster organization is dedicated to
supporting our students, the directors, and the band program in
creating, producing, and performing the best possible marching
and concert programs. To achieve this goal, the Boosters provide
food and drink for special occasions, develop fundraising
activities to support trips, work tirelessly to promote student
and community spirit, serve as chaperones for all band trips,
and serve as a field crew for the marching band.
New Band Parents:
As a parent of a musician or guard
member,
you are automatically a member of the Band Booster organization.
There is no charge for membership, however, your
participation is essential. We ask you to join us in
supporting their music education by becoming a booster volunteer.
Volunteering is an excellent way to meet other
parents, earn your volunteer points, and stay in touch with the
band program.
If you haven't already, please contact one
of the Band Booster Officers to find out
how you can become involved in the RCHS Band Booster organization.
Another way to stay up to date on
the latest information regarding your student’s activities is to
attend our monthly meetings. The Band Boosters meet on the
second Tuesday of every month in the Band Room at 7:30pm. In
addition to the regular Booster business, the directors give reports on the progress of each of the groups
throughout the year.
The RCHS
Band Boosters, Inc. is a non-profit organization organized under
section 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Code of 1986.
